Scottish Rite Children's Theatre Auditions
Auditions for upcoming children's shows will be posted here. General guidelines:
Prepare a monologue, 1-3 minutes in length
Actors may be asked to stay and read from the script.
Head shots and resume should be current.
Rehearsals are typically 6-10 PM on certain weekdays; occasional weekends
Rehearsals and performances are held at Scottish Rite Theatre
Performances: Saturdays at 10:00 AM, Sundays at 2:00 PM
Actors will be asked to perform in two to five 10:30 AM weekday shows on Wednesday and Thursdays.
Shows run approximately one hour
Actors are asked to stay after the performance to sign autographs
All positions are paid.

Write a Script We are interested in original scripts for our productions. Submit scripts either in electronic format to the Company Manager or mail to:

To submit a script, consider the following:
Plays must be one act, 45-60 minutes in length
Our target audience is 4-10 years of age
No more than 4 actors per show, double/triple casting is encouraged
Plays must be audience interactive and invite the children’s reactions
Employment As a community theatre, Scottish Rite Theatre offers various contract opportunities for Seamstresses, Carpenters, Prop Masters, Stage Managers and Technical Crew. Call 472-7247 to inquire.
