Important Information
• Ticket Prices: $3 Infants under 1 year, $7 Children ages 1-12, $10 Adults.
• Infants Infants are children under 1 year of age. We must include babies in our head count to satisfy fire code regulations.
• Note On Sale dates below show titles. If you cannot view dates and times on "Shows" page, the show is not yet on sale.
• Online tickets may be purchased up to 5PM on Friday for the immediate weekend's shows.
• If tickets are no longer available online, call 472-5436.
• Limited tickets may be available on day of show on a first come, first served basis.
• Credit Card Fee There is a $2.00 transaction fee for all credit card purchases (per order for each show, not per ticket).
• "4 on the Floor" Children age 4 and above are invited to sit on the carpeted areas on the floor.
• No adults on the floor Please sit in the chairs...little ones can't see over you! For safety, please keep children under 4 with you in the seats.
• No strollers allowed in the auditorium. Space is provided to park strollers in the lobby area.
Directions to the theatre
We are located downtown at 207 West 18th Street, Austin, Texas 78701, at the corner of 18th and Lavaca.
From IH35: head west on MLK Boulevard (19th Street). Turn south (left) on Colorado, just past the Bob Bullock Texas History Museum. Go one block to the stop sign and turn right on 18th Street. The theatre is on your left, a pale yellow mission-style building. Free parking lot is available in our lot adjacent to the building.

 Weekends June 27-August 2 Saturdays at 10:00AM and Sundays at 2:00PM Wednesday, July 15 and Thursday, July 16 at 10:30AM Written by D.H. Thompson. Directed and Music Directed by Michael McKelvey Scottish Rite Children's Theatre presents a new adaptation of the classic Brother’s Grimm tale that teaches the lesson of being true to your word. The interactive play is peppered with delightful, original songs and music and is perfect for ages 3-9, though adults will appreciate the slapstick humor too! Synopsis: Princess Abigail is simply a spoiled brat with no concern for anyone but herself. But with the help of a cunning frog with a very special secret, Abigail will learn how to be a true Princess! The Frog Prince features original songs and music, and a special guest star–Penelope the Party Pooper (children will remember her as the bitter fairy from SRCT’s Sleeping Beauty). The play features talented Austin actors Sean Martin (The Frog Prince), Jennymarie Jemison (Princess Abigail), Andrea Smith (Penelope the Party Pooper) and Jose Villarreal as Prince Francis and The King. With delightful costumes by Rita Kelso, the Frog Prince is another kid-pleasing addition to the Scottish Rite Children's Theatre repertoire. The show is adeptly handled by the crew: Alex Soto, Joshua Keeling, the play's author Heath Thompson, and Company Manager Gwen Kelso.
