Shows
• Infants: children under 1 year. Babies need tickets as we must include them in our head count to satisfy fire code.
• Online tickets may be purchased up to 4:30pm on Friday for the immediate weekend's shows.
• If tickets are no longer available online, call 472-5436. Limited tickets may be available day of show.
• Credit Card Fee There is a $2.00 transaction fee for credit card orders (per order each show, not per ticket).
• "4 on the Floor" Children age 4+ may sit on the carpeted areas on the floor. Children under 4 should remain with adults. Please no adults on the floor, the little ones can't see over you!
• No strollers allowed in the auditorium. Strollers can be parked in the lobby.
Directions to the theatre
207 West 18th Street (corner of 18th and Lavaca). From IH35: head west on MLK Boulevard (19th Street). Turn south (left) on Colorado, just past the Bob Bullock Texas History Museum. Go one block to stop sign and turn right on 18th Street. The theatre is on your left, a pale yellow mission-style building. Free parking lot is available in our lot adjacent to the building.  Scottish Rite Children's Theatre presents a new version of Lewis Carroll's classic tale about a little girl named Alice who tumbles down a rabbit hole into a fantasy world populated by peculiar creatures including a habitually late rabbit! True to Scottish Rite Children's Theatre form, the interactive show has a unique twist, and is perfect for young audiences ages 3-10. Synopsis: After falling asleep during a history lesson, Alice decides to share her dream with the rest of the class. Join us as we go for a great adventure through a talking door, meet the White Rabbit, attend a tea party with the Mad Hatter, chat with a Cheshire Cat, and meet a Queen who loves Croquet. Join us for The Scottish Rite Children's Theatre's new production of ALICE IN WONDERLAND, written and directed by Michael McKelvey (The Frog Prince and A Christmas Carol) - or it might be off with your head! Groups Group rates are available for schools, care centers and groups of 10 or more. Group tickets must be purchased by calling the Box Office, 472-5436. Group discounts are not available online.  Scottish Rite Children's Theatre brings back the popular classic, Robin Hood, April 10-May 16.The Far, Far Away Kingdom is in danger! In this original production, the evil Sheriff of Nottingham has been stealing from the poor townspeople. Now it’s up to Robin Hood and his right hand man, Little John (with some help from the audience) to stop the Sheriff and save the lovely Maid Marian before she has to marry the no-good Nottingham! The production is designed to be interactive with the audience and best suited for children ages 3-10. Weekday shows are on sale now, great for school groups, care centers and home schoolers. Weekend shows go on sale in March.
