We are located downtown at 207 West 18th Street, Austin, Texas 78701, at the corner of 18th and Lavaca, catercorner from the Bob Bullock Texas History Museum.

• From IH35, head west on MLK Boulevard (19th Street).
  
• Turn left on Colorado (just past the Bob Bullock Texas History Museum)
  
• Go one block to the stop sign and turn right on 18th Street.
  
• The theatre is on your left, a pale yellow mission-style building.  
  
• Free parking lot is available in our lot adjacent to the building.

Weekday Show Series

Weekday performances of all of our productions are perfect for schools, home schoolers and day care centers, or for the mom looking for a different kind of wholesome weekday outing for kids. Call 472-5436 to purchase tickets to weekday performances.

Facility Rental–for weddings, performances or meetings

The historic Scottish Rite Theatre building is available for performances, weddings, receptions and meetings. We are here to assist in making your special event a success! Call Events Manager at 512-472-7247 to plan today.

Tours

We offer special tours that highlight the unique history of the building and provide a brief introduction to theatre production. For younger groups, theatre games introduce stage direction, acting exercises, and technical terms. Students are invited onto our historic stage to experience the view form an actor’s perspective. Buy a Performance for a Private Party or Fundraiser

Exclusive Buy Outs for large groups or organizations can be arranged. You may purchase the entire 300 seat house for a private performance, or to raise money for a cause. Buy the house at a flat rate, and in turn, sell tickets to your guests at a rate you determine. Please call 472-7247 for rates and details.
